It's easy, search your app store for Pippo and download the app. Then select “Create Account” on the Pippo homepage. Next search for our practice by location or the practice name "Star Dental and GP Clinic". Please note you must already be a registered patient of a practice that is using Pippo to use the app. Fill in your details and continue through the registration process. The final step will require you to enter your phone number and accept the app Terms and Conditions. A six-digit code will be sent to your phone number. Enter this into the app to verify your account. You will then receive an email when your practice has activated your account, once you receive this mail click 'Verify' and you can start using Pippo straight-away.

Adding a child or a dependant is easy. On the bottom right of the app, click your name or your first initial and then select 'Profile' from the pop-up menu. This is your profile which contains your name, DOB, address, phone number and practice details. Scroll down this page until you reach the 'Dependants' section. Select 'Add Dependant' and fill in your child's or dependant's details and select their relationship to you from a dropdown menu. When you’ve finished filling in the information hit the save button at the top of your screen and your dependant will be activated by the practice. Once activated you will be able to book appointments for your child or dependant. Please note that Dependants in Pippo are children who are under 18. If your child is over 18 they will need to have their own Pippo account.

Click the 'Appointments' button at the bottom of the Pippo app screen to see a list of all upcoming appointments that you have booked via Pippo. You can also click 'See previous appointments' to view all previous appointments that you have booked through Pippo.

Click on your name icon in the bottom right of Pippo and select 'Profile' from the pop-up menu. Once in your profile click 'Edit your details' and you will be able to edit anything to do with your profile. We recommend you also inform your GP practice of any changes you make in order to ensure that they can still communicate with you as needed.
